Chapter 99: The Earthquake (ÓæÑÉ ÇáÒáÒáÉ)

ÈöÓúãö Çááøóåö ÇáÑøóÍúãóäö ÇáÑøóÍöíãö
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

ÅöÐóÇ ÒõáúÒöáóÊö ÇáÃóÑúÖõ ÒöáúÒóÇáóåóÇ

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake

[The Earthquake 99:1]

æóÃóÎúÑóÌóÊö ÇáÃóÑúÖõ ÃóËúÞóÇáóåóÇ

And the earth discharges its burdens

[The Earthquake 99:2]

æóÞóÇáó ÇáÅöäÓóÇäõ ãóÇ áóåóÇ

And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" -

[The Earthquake 99:3]

íóæúãóÆöÐò ÊõÍóÏøöËõ ÃóÎúÈóÇÑóåóÇ

That Day, it will report its news

[The Earthquake 99:4]

ÈöÃóäøó ÑóÈøóßó ÃóæúÍóì áóåóÇ

Because your Lord has commanded it.

[The Earthquake 99:5]

íóæúãóÆöÐò íóÕúÏõÑõ ÇáäøóÇÓõ ÃóÔúÊóÇÊðÇ áöíõÑóæúÇ ÃóÚúãóÇáóåõãú

That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.

[The Earthquake 99:6]

Ýóãóäú íóÚúãóáú ãöËúÞóÇáó ÐóÑøóÉò ÎóíúÑðÇ íóÑóå

So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it,

[The Earthquake 99:7]

æóãóäú íóÚúãóáú ãöËúÞóÇáó ÐóÑøóÉò ÔóÑøðÇ íóÑóå

And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.

[The Earthquake 99:8]
