Chapter 75: The Resurrection (ÓæÑÉ ÇáÞíÇãÉ)

ÈöÓúãö Çááøóåö ÇáÑøóÍúãóäö ÇáÑøóÍöíãö
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

áÇó ÃõÞúÓöãõ Èöíóæúãö ÇáúÞöíóÇãóÉö

I swear by the Day of Resurrection

[The Resurrection 75:1]

æóáÇó ÃõÞúÓöãõ ÈöÇáäøóÝúÓö ÇááøóæøóÇãóÉö

And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].

[The Resurrection 75:2]

ÃóíóÍúÓóÈõ ÇáÅöäÓóÇäõ Ãóáøóäú äóÌúãóÚó ÚöÙóÇãóåõ

Does man think that We will not assemble his bones?

[The Resurrection 75:3]

Èóáóì ÞóÇÏöÑöíäó Úóáóì Ãóäú äõÓóæøöíó ÈóäóÇäóåõ

Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips.

[The Resurrection 75:4]

Èóáú íõÑöíÏõ ÇáÅöäÓóÇäõ áöíóÝúÌõÑó ÃóãóÇãóåõ

But man desires to continue in sin.

[The Resurrection 75:5]

íóÓúÃóáõ ÃóíøóÇäó íóæúãõ ÇáúÞöíóÇãóÉö

He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?"

[The Resurrection 75:6]

ÝóÅöÐóÇ ÈóÑöÞó ÇáúÈóÕóÑõ

So when vision is dazzled

[The Resurrection 75:7]

æóÎóÓóÝó ÇáúÞóãóÑõ

And the moon darkens

[The Resurrection 75:8]

æóÌõãöÚó ÇáÔøóãúÓõ æóÇáúÞóãóÑõ

And the sun and the moon are joined,

[The Resurrection 75:9]

íóÞõæáõ ÇáÅöäÓóÇäõ íóæúãóÆöÐò Ãóíúäó ÇáúãóÝóÑøõ

Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?"

[The Resurrection 75:10]

ßóáÇøó áÇó æóÒóÑó

No! There is no refuge.

[The Resurrection 75:11]

Åöáóì ÑóÈøößó íóæúãóÆöÐò ÇáúãõÓúÊóÞóÑøõ

To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence.

[The Resurrection 75:12]

íõäóÈøóÃõ ÇáÅöäÓóÇäõ íóæúãóÆöÐò ÈöãóÇ ÞóÏøóãó æóÃóÎøóÑó

Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back.

[The Resurrection 75:13]

Èóáú ÇáÅöäÓóÇäõ Úóáóì äóÝúÓöåö ÈóÕöíÑóÉñ

Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness,

[The Resurrection 75:14]

æóáóæú ÃóáúÞóì ãóÚóÇÐöíÑóåõ

Even if he presents his excuses.

[The Resurrection 75:15]

áÇó ÊõÍóÑøößú Èöåö áöÓóÇäóßó áöÊóÚúÌóáó Èöåö

Move not your tongue with it, [O Mu?ammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an.

[The Resurrection 75:16]

Åöäøó ÚóáóíúäóÇ ÌóãúÚóåõ æóÞõÑúÂäóåõ

Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation.

[The Resurrection 75:17]

ÝóÅöÐóÇ ÞóÑóÃúäóÇåõ ÝóÇÊøóÈöÚú ÞõÑúÂäóåõ

So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation.

[The Resurrection 75:18]

Ëõãøó Åöäøó ÚóáóíúäóÇ ÈóíóÇäóåõ

Then upon Us is its clarification [to you].

[The Resurrection 75:19]

ßóáÇøó Èóáú ÊõÍöÈøõæäó ÇáúÚóÇÌöáóÉó

No! But you love the immediate

[The Resurrection 75:20]

æóÊóÐóÑõæäó ÇáÂÎöÑóÉó

And leave the Hereafter.

[The Resurrection 75:21]

æõÌõæåñ íóæúãóÆöÐò äóÇÖöÑóÉñ

[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant,

[The Resurrection 75:22]

Åöáóì ÑóÈøöåóÇ äóÇÙöÑóÉñ

Looking at their Lord.

[The Resurrection 75:23]

æóæõÌõæåñ íóæúãóÆöÐò ÈóÇÓöÑóÉñ

And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted,

[The Resurrection 75:24]

ÊóÙõäøõ Ãóäú íõÝúÚóáó ÈöåóÇ ÝóÇÞöÑóÉñ

Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking.

[The Resurrection 75:25]

ßóáÇøó ÅöÐóÇ ÈóáóÛóÊú ÇáÊøóÑóÇÞöí

No! When the soul has reached the collar bones

[The Resurrection 75:26]

æóÞöíáó ãóäú ÑóÇÞò

And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?"

[The Resurrection 75:27]

æóÙóäøó Ãóäøóåõ ÇáúÝöÑóÇÞõ

And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation

[The Resurrection 75:28]

æóÇáúÊóÝøóÊú ÇáÓøóÇÞõ ÈöÇáÓøóÇÞö

And the leg is wound about the leg,

[The Resurrection 75:29]

Åöáóì ÑóÈøößó íóæúãóÆöÐò ÇáúãóÓóÇÞõ

To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession.

[The Resurrection 75:30]

ÝóáÇó ÕóÏøóÞó æóáÇó Õóáøóì

And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed.

[The Resurrection 75:31]

æóáóßöäú ßóÐøóÈó æóÊóæóáøóì

But [instead], he denied and turned away.

[The Resurrection 75:32]

Ëõãøó ÐóåóÈó Åöáóì Ãóåúáöåö íóÊóãóØøóì

And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride].

[The Resurrection 75:33]

Ãóæúáóì áóßó ÝóÃóæúáóì

Woe to you, and woe!

[The Resurrection 75:34]

Ëõãøó Ãóæúáóì áóßó ÝóÃóæúáóì

Then woe to you, and woe!

[The Resurrection 75:35]

ÃóíóÍúÓóÈõ ÇáÅöäÓóÇäõ Ãóäú íõÊúÑóßó ÓõÏðì

Does man think that he will be left neglected?

[The Resurrection 75:36]

Ãóáóãú íóßõ äõØúÝóÉð ãöäú ãóäöíøò íõãúäóì

Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted?

[The Resurrection 75:37]

Ëõãøó ßóÇäó ÚóáóÞóÉð ÝóÎóáóÞó ÝóÓóæøóì

Then he was a clinging clot, and [ Allah ] created [his form] and proportioned [him]

[The Resurrection 75:38]

ÝóÌóÚóáó ãöäúåõ ÇáÒøóæúÌóíúäö ÇáÐøóßóÑó æóÇáÃõäËóì

And made of him two mates, the male and the female.

[The Resurrection 75:39]

ÃóáóíúÓó Ðóáößó ÈöÞóÇÏöÑò Úóáóì Ãóäú íõÍúíöíó ÇáúãóæúÊóì

Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead?

[The Resurrection 75:40]
