Chapter 72: The Jinn (ÓæÑÉ ÇáÌä)

ÈöÓúãö Çááøóåö ÇáÑøóÍúãóäö ÇáÑøóÍöíãö
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

Þõáú ÃõæÍöíó Åöáóíøó Ãóäøóåõ ÇÓúÊóãóÚó äóÝóÑñ ãöäú ÇáúÌöäøö ÝóÞóÇáõæÇ ÅöäøóÇ ÓóãöÚúäóÇ ÞõÑúÂäðÇ ÚóÌóÈðÇ

Say, [O Mu?ammad], "It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, 'Indeed, we have heard an amazing Qur'an.

[The Jinn 72:1]

íóåúÏöí Åöáóì ÇáÑøõÔúÏö ÝóÂãóäøóÇ Èöåö æóáóäú äõÔúÑößó ÈöÑóÈøöäóÇ ÃóÍóÏðÇ

It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone.

[The Jinn 72:2]

æóÃóäøóåõ ÊóÚóÇáóì ÌóÏøõ ÑóÈøöäóÇ ãóÇ ÇÊøóÎóÐó ÕóÇÍöÈóÉð æóáÇó æóáóÏðÇ

And [it teaches] that exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son

[The Jinn 72:3]

æóÃóäøóåõ ßóÇäó íóÞõæáõ ÓóÝöíåõäóÇ Úóáóì Çááøóåö ÔóØóØðÇ

And that our foolish one has been saying about Allah an excessive transgression.

[The Jinn 72:4]

æóÃóäøóÇ ÙóäóäøóÇ Ãóäú áóäú ÊóÞõæáó ÇáÅöäÓõ æóÇáúÌöäøõ Úóáóì Çááøóåö ßóÐöÈðÇ

And we had thought that mankind and the jinn would never speak about Allah a lie.

[The Jinn 72:5]

æóÃóäøóåõ ßóÇäó ÑöÌóÇáñ ãöäú ÇáÅöäÓö íóÚõæÐõæäó ÈöÑöÌóÇáò ãöäú ÇáúÌöäøö ÝóÒóÇÏõæåõãú ÑóåóÞðÇ

And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden.

[The Jinn 72:6]

æóÃóäøóåõãú ÙóäøõæÇ ßóãóÇ ÙóäóäÊõãú Ãóäú áóäú íóÈúÚóËó Çááøóåõ ÃóÍóÏðÇ

And they had thought, as you thought, that Allah would never send anyone [as a messenger].

[The Jinn 72:7]

æóÃóäøóÇ áóãóÓúäóÇ ÇáÓøóãóÇÁó ÝóæóÌóÏúäóÇåóÇ ãõáöÆóÊú ÍóÑóÓðÇ ÔóÏöíÏðÇ æóÔõåõÈðÇ

And we have sought [to reach] the heaven but found it filled with powerful guards and burning flames.

[The Jinn 72:8]

æóÃóäøóÇ ßõäøóÇ äóÞúÚõÏõ ãöäúåóÇ ãóÞóÇÚöÏó áöáÓøóãúÚö Ýóãóäú íóÓúÊóãöÚú ÇáÂäó íóÌöÏú áóåõ ÔöåóÇÈðÇ ÑóÕóÏðÇ

And we used to sit therein in positions for hearing, but whoever listens now will find a burning flame lying in wait for him.

[The Jinn 72:9]

æóÃóäøóÇ áÇó äóÏúÑöí ÃóÔóÑøñ ÃõÑöíÏó Èöãóäú Ýöí ÇáÃóÑúÖö Ãóãú ÃóÑóÇÏó Èöåöãú ÑóÈøõåõãú ÑóÔóÏðÇ

And we do not know [therefore] whether evil is intended for those on earth or whether their Lord intends for them a right course.

[The Jinn 72:10]

æóÃóäøóÇ ãöäøóÇ ÇáÕøóÇáöÍõæäó æóãöäøóÇ Ïõæäó Ðóáößó ßõäøóÇ ØóÑóÇÆöÞó ÞöÏóÏðÇ

And among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways.

[The Jinn 72:11]

æóÃóäøóÇ ÙóäóäøóÇ Ãóäú áóäú äõÚÌöÒó Çááøóåó Ýöí ÇáÃóÑúÖö æóáóäú äõÚúÌöÒóåõ åóÑóÈðÇ

And we have become certain that we will never cause failure to Allah upon earth, nor can we escape Him by flight.

[The Jinn 72:12]

æóÃóäøóÇ áóãøóÇ ÓóãöÚúäóÇ ÇáúåõÏóì ÂãóäøóÇ Èöåö Ýóãóäú íõÄúãöäú ÈöÑóÈøöåö ÝóáÇó íóÎóÇÝõ ÈóÎúÓðÇ æóáÇó ÑóåóÞðÇ

And when we heard the guidance, we believed in it. And whoever believes in his Lord will not fear deprivation or burden.

[The Jinn 72:13]

æóÃóäøóÇ ãöäøóÇ ÇáúãõÓúáöãõæäó æóãöäøóÇ ÇáúÞóÇÓöØõæäó Ýóãóäú ÃóÓúáóãó ÝóÃõæúáóÆößó ÊóÍóÑøóæúÇ ÑóÔóÏðÇ

And among us are Muslims [in submission to Allah ], and among us are the unjust. And whoever has become Muslim - those have sought out the right course.

[The Jinn 72:14]

æóÃóãøóÇ ÇáúÞóÇÓöØõæäó ÝóßóÇäõæÇ áöÌóåóäøóãó ÍóØóÈðÇ

But as for the unjust, they will be, for Hell, firewood.'

[The Jinn 72:15]

æóÃóáøóæú ÇÓúÊóÞóÇãõæÇ Úóáóì ÇáØøóÑöíÞóÉö áÃóÓúÞóíúäóÇåõãú ãóÇÁð ÛóÏóÞðÇ

And [ Allah revealed] that if they had remained straight on the way, We would have given them abundant provision

[The Jinn 72:16]

áöäóÝúÊöäóåõãú Ýöíåö æóãóäú íõÚúÑöÖú Úóäú ÐößúÑö ÑóÈøöåö íóÓúáõßúåõ ÚóÐóÇÈðÇ ÕóÚóÏðÇ

So We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord He will put into arduous punishment.

[The Jinn 72:17]

æóÃóäøó ÇáúãóÓóÇÌöÏó áöáøóåö ÝóáÇó ÊóÏúÚõæÇ ãóÚó Çááøóåö ÃóÍóÏðÇ

And [He revealed] that the masjids are for Allah , so do not invoke with Allah anyone.

[The Jinn 72:18]

æóÃóäøóåõ áóãøóÇ ÞóÇãó ÚóÈúÏõ Çááøóåö íóÏúÚõæåõ ßóÇÏõæÇ íóßõæäõæäó Úóáóíúåö áöÈóÏðÇ

And that when the Servant of Allah stood up supplicating Him, they almost became about him a compacted mass."

[The Jinn 72:19]

Þõáú ÅöäøóãóÇ ÃóÏúÚõæ ÑóÈøöí æóáÇó ÃõÔúÑößõ Èöåö ÃóÍóÏðÇ

Say, [O Mu?ammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone."

[The Jinn 72:20]

Þõáú Åöäøöí áÇó Ãóãúáößõ áóßõãú ÖóÑøðÇ æóáÇó ÑóÔóÏðÇ

Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or right direction."

[The Jinn 72:21]

Þõáú Åöäøöí áóäú íõÌöíÑóäöí ãöäú Çááøóåö ÃóÍóÏñ æóáóäú ÃóÌöÏó ãöäú Ïõæäöåö ãõáúÊóÍóÏðÇ

Say, "Indeed, there will never protect me from Allah anyone [if I should disobey], nor will I find in other than Him a refuge.

[The Jinn 72:22]

ÅöáÇøó ÈóáÇóÛðÇ ãöäú Çááøóåö æóÑöÓóÇáÇóÊöåö æóãóäú íóÚúÕö Çááøóåó æóÑóÓõæáóåõ ÝóÅöäøó áóåõ äóÇÑó Ìóåóäøóãó ÎóÇáöÏöíäó ÝöíåóÇ ÃóÈóÏðÇ

But [I have for you] only notification from Allah , and His messages." And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger - then indeed, for him is the fire of Hell; they will abide therein forever.

[The Jinn 72:23]

ÍóÊøóì ÅöÐóÇ ÑóÃóæúÇ ãóÇ íõæÚóÏõæäó ÝóÓóíóÚúáóãõæäó ãóäú ÃóÖúÚóÝõ äóÇÕöÑðÇ æóÃóÞóáøõ ÚóÏóÏðÇ

[The disbelievers continue] until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and less in number.

[The Jinn 72:24]

Þõáú Åöäú ÃóÏúÑöí ÃóÞóÑöíÈñ ãóÇ ÊõæÚóÏõæäó Ãóãú íóÌúÚóáõ áóåõ ÑóÈøöí ÃóãóÏðÇ

Say, "I do not know if what you are promised is near or if my Lord will grant for it a [long] period."

[The Jinn 72:25]

ÚóÇáöãõ ÇáúÛóíúÈö ÝóáÇó íõÙúåöÑõ Úóáóì ÛóíúÈöåö ÃóÍóÏðÇ

[He is] Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His [knowledge of the] unseen to anyone

[The Jinn 72:26]

ÅöáÇøó ãóäú ÇÑúÊóÖóì ãöäú ÑóÓõæáò ÝóÅöäøóåõ íóÓúáõßõ ãöäú Èóíúäö íóÏóíúåö æóãöäú ÎóáúÝöåö ÑóÕóÏðÇ

Except whom He has approved of messengers, and indeed, He sends before each messenger and behind him observers

[The Jinn 72:27]

áöíóÚúáóãó Ãóäú ÞóÏú ÃóÈúáóÛõæÇ ÑöÓóÇáÇóÊö ÑóÈøöåöãú æóÃóÍóÇØó ÈöãóÇ áóÏóíúåöãú æóÃóÍúÕóì ßõáøó ÔóíúÁò ÚóÏóÏðÇ

That he may know that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord; and He has encompassed whatever is with them and has enumerated all things in number.

[The Jinn 72:28]
