Chapter 55: The Beneficent (ÓæÑÉ ÇáÑÍãä)

ÈöÓúãö Çááøóåö ÇáÑøóÍúãóäö ÇáÑøóÍöíãö
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

ÇáÑøóÍúãóäõ

The Most Merciful

[The Beneficent 55:1]

Úóáøóãó ÇáúÞõÑúÂäó

Taught the Qur'an,

[The Beneficent 55:2]

ÎóáóÞó ÇáÅöäÓóÇäó

Created man,

[The Beneficent 55:3]

Úóáøóãóåõ ÇáúÈóíóÇäó

[And] taught him eloquence.

[The Beneficent 55:4]

ÇáÔøóãúÓõ æóÇáúÞóãóÑõ ÈöÍõÓúÈóÇäò

The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation,

[The Beneficent 55:5]

æóÇáäøóÌúãõ æóÇáÔøóÌóÑõ íóÓúÌõÏóÇäö

And the stars and trees prostrate.

[The Beneficent 55:6]

æóÇáÓøóãóÇÁó ÑóÝóÚóåóÇ æóæóÖóÚó ÇáúãöíÒóÇäó

And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance

[The Beneficent 55:7]

ÃóáÇøó ÊóØúÛóæúÇ Ýöí ÇáúãöíÒóÇäö

That you not transgress within the balance.

[The Beneficent 55:8]

æóÃóÞöíãõæÇ ÇáúæóÒúäó ÈöÇáúÞöÓúØö æóáÇó ÊõÎúÓöÑõæÇ ÇáúãöíÒóÇäó

And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.

[The Beneficent 55:9]

æóÇáÃóÑúÖó æóÖóÚóåóÇ áöáÃóäóÇãö

And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures.

[The Beneficent 55:10]

ÝöíåóÇ ÝóÇßöåóÉñ æóÇáäøóÎúáõ ÐóÇÊõ ÇáÃóßúãóÇãö

Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]

[The Beneficent 55:11]

æóÇáúÍóÈøõ Ðõæ ÇáúÚóÕúÝö æóÇáÑøóíúÍóÇä

And grain having husks and scented plants.

[The Beneficent 55:12]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:13]

ÎóáóÞó ÇáÅöäÓóÇäó ãöäú ÕóáúÕóÇáò ßóÇáúÝóÎøóÇÑö

He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.

[The Beneficent 55:14]

æóÎóáóÞó ÇáúÌóÇäøó ãöäú ãóÇÑöÌò ãöäú äóÇÑò

And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.

[The Beneficent 55:15]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:16]

ÑóÈøõ ÇáúãóÔúÑöÞóíúäö æóÑóÈøõ ÇáúãóÛúÑöÈóíúäö

[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets.

[The Beneficent 55:17]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:18]

ãóÑóÌó ÇáúÈóÍúÑóíúäö íóáúÊóÞöíóÇäö

He released the two seas, meeting [side by side];

[The Beneficent 55:19]

ÈóíúäóåõãóÇ ÈóÑúÒóÎñ áÇó íóÈúÛöíóÇäö

Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses.

[The Beneficent 55:20]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:21]

íóÎúÑõÌõ ãöäúåõãóÇ ÇááøõÄúáõÄõ æóÇáúãóÑúÌóÇäõ

From both of them emerge pearl and coral.

[The Beneficent 55:22]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:23]

æóáóåõ ÇáúÌóæóÇÑö ÇáúãõäÔóÂÊõ Ýöí ÇáúÈóÍúÑö ßóÇáÃóÚúáÇóãö

And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains.

[The Beneficent 55:24]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:25]

ßõáøõ ãóäú ÚóáóíúåóÇ ÝóÇäò

Everyone upon the earth will perish,

[The Beneficent 55:26]

æóíóÈúÞóì æóÌúåõ ÑóÈøößó Ðõæ ÇáúÌóáÇóáö æóÇáÅößúÑóÇãö

And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.

[The Beneficent 55:27]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:28]

íóÓúÃóáõåõ ãóäú Ýöí ÇáÓøóãóÇæóÇÊö æóÇáÃóÑúÖö ßõáøó íóæúãò åõæó Ýöí ÔóÃúäò

Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter.

[The Beneficent 55:29]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:30]

ÓóäóÝúÑõÛõ áóßõãú ÃóíøõåóÇ ÇáËøóÞóáÇóäö

We will attend to you, O prominent beings.

[The Beneficent 55:31]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:32]

íóÇãóÚúÔóÑó ÇáúÌöäøö æóÇáÅöäÓö Åöäú ÇÓúÊóØóÚúÊõãú Ãóäú ÊóäÝõÐõæÇ ãöäú ÃóÞúØóÇÑö ÇáÓøóãóÇæóÇÊö æóÇáÃóÑúÖö ÝóÇäÝõÐõæÇ áÇó ÊóäÝõÐõæäó ÅöáÇøó ÈöÓõáúØóÇäò

O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah ].

[The Beneficent 55:33]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:34]

íõÑúÓóáõ ÚóáóíúßõãóÇ ÔõæóÇÙñ ãöäú äóÇÑò æóäõÍóÇÓñ ÝóáÇó ÊóäÊóÕöÑóÇäö

There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves.

[The Beneficent 55:35]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:36]

ÝóÅöÐóÇ ÇäÔóÞøóÊö ÇáÓøóãóÇÁõ ÝóßóÇäóÊú æóÑúÏóÉð ßóÇáÏøöåóÇäö

And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil -

[The Beneficent 55:37]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

[The Beneficent 55:38]

ÝóíóæúãóÆöÐò áÇó íõÓúÃóáõ Úóäú ÐóäúÈöåö ÅöäÓñ æóáÇó ÌóÇäøñ

Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn.

[The Beneficent 55:39]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:40]

íõÚúÑóÝõ ÇáúãõÌúÑöãõæäó ÈöÓöíãóÇåõãú ÝóíõÄúÎóÐõ ÈöÇáäøóæóÇÕöí æóÇáÃóÞúÏóÇãö

The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.

[The Beneficent 55:41]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:42]

åóÐöåö Ìóåóäøóãõ ÇáøóÊöí íõßóÐøöÈõ ÈöåóÇ ÇáúãõÌúÑöãõæäó

This is Hell, which the criminals deny.

[The Beneficent 55:43]

íóØõæÝõæäó ÈóíúäóåóÇ æóÈóíúäó Íóãöíãò Âäò

They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree].

[The Beneficent 55:44]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:45]

æóáöãóäú ÎóÇÝó ãóÞóÇãó ÑóÈøöåö ÌóäøóÊóÇäö

But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens -

[The Beneficent 55:46]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

[The Beneficent 55:47]

ÐóæóÇÊóì ÃóÝúäóÇäò

Having [spreading] branches.

[The Beneficent 55:48]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:49]

ÝöíåöãóÇ ÚóíúäóÇäö ÊóÌúÑöíóÇäö

In both of them are two springs, flowing.

[The Beneficent 55:50]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:51]

ÝöíåöãóÇ ãöäú ßõáøö ÝóÇßöåóÉò ÒóæúÌóÇäö

In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds.

[The Beneficent 55:52]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:53]

ãõÊøóßöÆöíäó Úóáóì ÝõÑõÔò ÈóØóÇÆöäõåóÇ ãöäú ÅöÓúÊóÈúÑóÞò æóÌóäóì ÇáúÌóäøóÊóíúäö ÏóÇäò

[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low.

[The Beneficent 55:54]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:55]

Ýöíåöäøó ÞóÇÕöÑóÇÊõ ÇáØøóÑúÝö áóãú íóØúãöËúåõäøó ÅöäúÓñ ÞóÈúáóåõãú æóáÇó ÌóÇäøñ

In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni -

[The Beneficent 55:56]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

[The Beneficent 55:57]

ßóÃóäøóåõäøó ÇáúíóÇÞõæÊõ æóÇáúãóÑúÌóÇäõ

As if they were rubies and coral.

[The Beneficent 55:58]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:59]

åóáú ÌóÒóÇÁõ ÇáÅöÍúÓóÇäö ÅöáÇøó ÇáÅöÍúÓóÇäõ

Is the reward for good [anything] but good?

[The Beneficent 55:60]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:61]

æóãöäú ÏõæäöåöãóÇ ÌóäøóÊóÇäö

And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens -

[The Beneficent 55:62]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

[The Beneficent 55:63]

ãõÏúåóÇãøóÊóÇäö

Dark green [in color].

[The Beneficent 55:64]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:65]

ÝöíåöãóÇ ÚóíúäóÇäö äóÖøóÇÎóÊóÇäö

In both of them are two springs, spouting.

[The Beneficent 55:66]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:67]

ÝöíåöãóÇ ÝóÇßöåóÉñ æóäóÎúáñ æóÑõãøóÇäñ

In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates.

[The Beneficent 55:68]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:69]

Ýöíåöäøó ÎóíúÑóÇÊñ ÍöÓóÇäñ

In them are good and beautiful women -

[The Beneficent 55:70]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

[The Beneficent 55:71]

ÍõæÑñ ãóÞúÕõæÑóÇÊñ Ýöí ÇáúÎöíóÇãö

Fair ones reserved in pavilions -

[The Beneficent 55:72]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

[The Beneficent 55:73]

áóãú íóØúãöËúåõäøó ÅöäÓñ ÞóÈúáóåõãú æóáÇó ÌóÇäøñ

Untouched before them by man or jinni -

[The Beneficent 55:74]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

[The Beneficent 55:75]

ãõÊøóßöÆöíäó Úóáóì ÑóÝúÑóÝò ÎõÖúÑò æóÚóÈúÞóÑöíøò ÍöÓóÇäò

Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets.

[The Beneficent 55:76]

ÝóÈöÃóíøö ÂáÇóÁö ÑóÈøößõãóÇ ÊõßóÐøöÈóÇäö

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

[The Beneficent 55:77]

ÊóÈóÇÑóßó ÇÓúãõ ÑóÈøößó Ðöí ÇáúÌóáÇóáö æóÇáÅößúÑóÇãö

Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.
